2025 Scholarship Application
Local 1826 is proud to announce the its 2025 Scholarship Program, dedicated to supporting the educational aspirations of our members and their families.

The Local 1826 Scholarship Program is designed to provide financial assistance to members and their families planning to start or continue their education in the EMS/Fire field. This initiative reflects our commitment to the growth and success of our members.

We are currently offering four (4) Scholarships

"Roy Vidal" EMT Award: Offering $3,000 to those eligible individuals seeking to start EMT school.

"Greg Trammel" Fire School Award: Offering $3,000 to those eligible individuals seeking to start Fire School.

"James Mcfee" Paramedic School Award: Offering $3,000 to those eligible individuals seeking to start Paramedic school.

"Leroy Nottingham" Continual Education Award: Offering $3,000 to those eligible individuals seeking to continue their education outside of Fire School, EMT School, and/or Paramedic School.

Each Applicant Must:

*Be a current active member of Local 1826 or a direct family member (child or spouse) of a member.

Application Deadline:

All applications must be submitted in full by midnight, August 1st, 2025.

All four (4) scholarship winners will be announced during our August by-monthly meeting.

Award Payment

First half of payment will be paid upon entry of course (directly to school, unless payment has been made), and second half reimbursed to the recipient upon completion of course with a "C" or better.
