This Contest is open to young women between the ages of 13-18 who have never birthed a child or have ever been married. By signing and submitting your signature, you acknowledge this to be the truth. All Applications must be submitted either on or before the May 4, 2027 deadline. Applications must be submitted using this contact form below. Applications received after the May 4, 2027 deadline will not be considered eligible. The Town of Brunson reserves all rights to deny or revoke the Title of Miss Brunson if any application information has been falsified. Applicants must be born between the years of March 2009-March 2014; Applicants must be a citizen of the United States and will remain a citizen of the United States through the contest; Applicants must represent and warrant that you are a female (recognized medically and legally as a female in the United States); Applicants must never have been married or had a marriage annulled; Applicants must never have given birth to a child, cannot be a parent or guardian of any other adult or minor person, and cannot currently be pregnant; Applicants must live within the Town Limits of Brunson SC for at least three (3) months prior to the date of application. The applicant who goes on to carry the title as “Miss Brunson,” must understand her duties as “Queen” reach beyond the contest and the Hampton County Watermelon Festival. She must attend a minimum of 3 required Town of Brunson functions throughout her reining year. Miss Brunson must be in appropriate attire and project good moral character at all functions. Parents/Legal guardians of Miss Brunson must chaperone Miss Brunson at all events at any location. Miss Brunson must take pride in wearing the title as “Miss Brunson” as she is an ambassador of The Town of Brunson and will be a part of our counties heritage for many years. I herby authorize the Town of Brunson to give a copy of the listed minor child’s photograph and information for any media or promotion for and or by the Town of Brunson as they deem appropriate. This information serves as a contract for duties as Miss Brunson. By signing below you, the applicant, agree to abide by all rules and regulations listed in the contract at all times. By signing below, the Contestant Contract is valid throughout the Queen’s entire reigning year. At any given time, if the Queen, Miss Brunson is not fulfilling the contestant contract to its entirety, she will be brought before the Town Council of Brunson for review. The Town Council of Brunson has the right to revoke of her title, sash and tiara. In the event that Miss Brunson is unable to fulfill her duties throughout her reigning year she may approach Town of Brunson Council for release of duty.
