  • AIMCC 2024 Applications for Teams

9 August - 11 August 2024 in Colombo, Sri Lanka
  • Greetings from ALSA Sri Lanka!

It is with pleasure we announce the opening of Team Applications for the 2024 ALSA International Moot Court Competition (‘AIMCC’), organized by the Asian Law Students’ Association (‘ALSA’) together with Sri Lanka as a host nation. AIMCC is a simulated arbitration hearing of an Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS). The AIMCC is one of the most prestigious events held by Asian Law Students' Association (ALSA) International.

Please note that this year’s competition will be conducted in an “IN-PERSON” format in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The competition is composed of two rounds; memorial rounds and oral rounds. Participating teams from all over the world will send their written memorials for both claimant and respondent stances of a hypothetical legal dispute written by the professionals. Later in the oral rounds, all teams will present their pleadings, arguing for both sides in front of the Panels of Arbitrators.
