    The Recruitment & Retention Committee is tasked with enhancing enrollment and retention through strategic planning, innovative initiatives, and community engagement. Dedicated to representing the organization's brand, the committee coordinates various activities and events while implementing best practices to attract new athletes and foster a supportive environment for existing participants and families.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategic Planning: Collaborate to develop and implement effective strategies and best practices for improving enrollment and retention rates, continuously evaluating and refining approaches to meet organizational goals.
    • Monthly Gym Activities: Coordinate engaging activities within the gym environment on a monthly basis, providing opportunities for both families and participants to connect and enjoy themed events such as Taco Tuesday, Spaghetti Night, Karaoke Night, Game Night, and Sip 'n Paint.
    • Recruitment Events: Plan and execute creative recruitment events, including Open Houses and Bring a Friend to Practice Day, designed to showcase the organization's offerings and attract new athletes through positive experiences and interactions.
    • Evaluation & Commitment Day: Coordinate the logistics of Evaluation Day and Commitment Day, ensuring seamless organization and execution of activities, including  setup, participant registration, and coordination, to provide a positive and efficient experience for all involved.
    • Anniversary Spirit Week: Organize themed practices during the organization's anniversary week, incorporating fun and festive themes to enhance team spirit and celebrate milestones, fostering a sense of camaraderie and excitement among participants and families.
    • Competitive Team Send Offs: Plan, coordinate, and decorate themed send-off events for competitive teams, tailored to the destination of upcoming competitions. This includes arranging themed food, coordinating themed games and activities, crafting decorations, and preparing themed favors to energize and inspire athletes before their journey.
    • Spirit Sticks Program: Coordinate the Spirit Sticks program, rewarding team members for their dedication, teamwork, and accomplishments, fostering a sense of pride and unity within the organization.
    • End of the Year Banquet: Organize and orchestrate the end-of-the-year awards banquet, overseeing venue selection, catering arrangements, program coordination, and awards presentation, while also facilitating the collection of contributions from families for coaches' gifts to express appreciation for their dedication and support throughout the season.
    • Retention Initiatives: Develop and implement retention initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall experience for current participants and families, fostering a sense of belonging and commitment to the organization.
      Communication and Promotion: Utilize various communication channels to promote recruitment events, gym activities, and retention initiatives, effectively reaching target audiences and maximizing participation.
    • Feedback Collection: Solicit feedback from participants, families, and stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and inform future recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring responsiveness to community needs and preferences.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze enrollment and retention data to track progress, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of recruitment and retention efforts, providing regular reports and insights to inform decision-making.

    The Recruitment & Retention Committee operates with a commitment to creativity, inclusivity, and continuous improvement, striving to create a welcoming and vibrant community while driving sustainable growth and success for the organization.

    Royal Committee Members shall:

    • Serve on specific committees as assigned by the Royal Board.
    • Attend and actively participate in committee meetings.
    • Fulfill obligations and tasks assigned by the committee chair.
    • Collaborate with other committee members to achieve committee goals.
    • Report updates and progress to the Operations Director and the Royal Board
      Utilize the Band app for communication within the committee and with other board members.
