Ellyn McCall, LSLS Cert. AVT
Ellyn McCall is a licensed deaf educator, certified Auditory-Verbal Therapist, and the CEO of Hear Indiana. Most importantly, though, she is the parent to a 15-year-old with auditory neuropathy. Seth was born prematurely in 2008 and diagnosed with auditory neuropathy when he was a few months old. Over the years, they have dealt with hearing aids, cochlear implants, fluctuating hearing, and growing up with a disorder that most people don't understand. Now Seth is a sophomore in high school and he has served as class president, is vice president of the Hands and Voices Junior Board, works as a Ninja coach at a local gym, is a leadership camper at Hear Indiana's Listening and Spoken Language Camp, and plays lacrosse on his high school team.
