Dear Parent/Guardian,

Knights of the King is the title of our 2025 Summer Holiday Club, to be held at St. John’s Church, Yeovil (opposite M&S). Run by members of St. John’s and St. Andrew’s churches, the week promises to be a fun mix of Bible stories, games, activities, challenges and includes a special holiday club service at St. John’s at the end of the week.

Knights of the King is for all primary-aged children from Reception to Year 6.

Dates & Times
10:00am – 12:30pm, Monday 28th July - Friday 1st August 2025
10:30am – 12:00pm, Sunday 3rd August 2025
(This service is for everyone and is a chance for family and friends to see what we’ve been doing all week)

To register your child, please complete the form below by Friday, 4th July 2025. Places are limited and will therefore be allocated on a first come-first served basis. A letter confirming your child’s place and final details will be sent after applications have closed in July. If you have been placed on a waiting list, we will aim to inform you straight away.

Safeguarding and Data Protection
At St. John’s and St. Andrew’s we take the issue of safeguarding and our responsibilities under data protection regulations very seriously and our Safeguarding Policy is available in our buildings or on the website.

All those helping with the Holiday Club have undergone a rigorous safer recruitment process, including current DBS checks, and have completed training appropriate to their role.

Should you have any questions or concerns you can contact our Parish Safeguarding Officer, the Rector or the Safeguarding Advisor for Bath and Wells Diocese.

This includes ensuring the appropriate use of images of adults, children, young people and vulnerable adults.

We therefore require the written consent of parents or carers to use photographs or video recordings of children, young people (under 18 years old) and vulnerable adults.
