The Blue Bio Bootcamps are one-day events organised in the context of the BlueBioClusters project, and are specifically designed for you who have a blue solution that can help solve a regional challenge – and need support to grow your business! The Bootcamps are open to entrepreneurs, startups, and SMEs with verified and scalable business ideas and with growth potential.

Eligibility Criteria:

• To apply for the Bootcamp, your business must be a Startup or an SME with a verified idea for a solution that addresses one of the challenges identified within our BlueBioClusters partner regions.
• While startups and SMEs from any location can participate in the bootcamps, it’s important to note that paid mentorship is exclusively available for companies situated within the project partner regions. However, we can still extend our support to those located outside the region by facilitating matchmaking with mentors through the BlueBioMatch platform.

By participating in the competition, entrepreneurs, startups and SMEs are given the opportunity to gain exposure, feedback, inspiration and access to the BlueBioClusters professional network. Competing in the Blue Bio Bootcamps is completely free of charge and you can choose for yourself which content of your business idea should be public to read and what should only be read by our jury, who have signed a confidentiality agreement.

This Bootcamp will take place across 4 different cities located in the Nordic Blue Bio Clusters regions. In-person events and workshops dedicated to addressing regional challenges will take place in Oban (Scotland), Reykjavík (Iceland), Ålesund (Norway), and Gothenburg (Sweden). As a participant, you are encouraged to participate in the in-person gathering in your region; however, hybrid participation will be made possible under specific circumstances.
