    There is a $40 non-refundable application fee for first-time applicants only, unpaid applications will not be considered.

    Vendor rate is $40 per week or $120 per month.

    Tentative Market Schedule for April 2026 - March 2027 Season

    We are open ALL SATURDAYS:

    • May - October 9am-1pm, November - April 10am-1pm
    • We are outside April - November on Franklin Avenue under the Haymaker Parkway Bridge, Kent, OH
    • We go indoors December - March at United Methodist Church of Kent, Pierson Hall 1435 E. Main St, Kent, OH

  • Product Mix

    Select the products that you plan to bring to the Market. Please read through the entire list to find the best fit for your products.
  • [1] Product requires production in a Certified Commerical Kitchen or Food Processing Establishment
    [2] Product requires an FDA short course certification and ODA license
    [3] Product requires a Mobile Vendor's License
    [4] Product requires a Nursery Dealer License and a Nursery Inspection Certificate
    [5] Product requires a RFE Prepared Food License

  • Product Requirements

    Based on the product(s) you selected you must meet certain production guidelines and/or have a specific license.
  • Category 1: Raw or minimally processed farm products

    Products include: Annual seedlings, Cut flowers, Eggs, Fruit, Herbs, Honey, Maple syrup, Meat, Nursery stock, Vegetables
  • Starting in April 2026, all Fruit, Herbs (fresh), Honey, and/or Vegetable Vendors will be required to become an authorized farmer with the Senior and WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Programs.

    The Market will help Vendors with the application process and provide more information as it becomes available.

    List all products you plan to sell by season; you may only bring products to Market that are listed here.

    We use this information during the Vendor review process to ensure the Market has a diversity of products throughout the year.

  • Category 2: Cottage foods and non-refrigerated baked goods

    Products include: Baked goods, Coffee beans, Dried herbs, Dried tea, Fruit preserves, Granola, Popcorn.
  • Products must be considered an Ohio Cottage Food. Products must be made from scratch using raw ingredients. Products made from prepared doughs and mixes are not permitted. You must be willing to discuss your production practices in detail during your application period.

  • Category 3: Regulated food products

    Products include: Acidified foods, Baked goods that require refrigeration, Dairy products, Ready-to-eat food and/or beverages
  • Category 4: Farm crafts, hygiene products, and services

    Products include: Farm crafts, hygiene products, and services. Farm craft products must be primarily produced from materials grown or harvested by the vendor. Hygiene products must be made by the vendor using local or agricultural products. Services should be provided on-site and related to local food or agriculture.
  • Artists can apply for Art @ the Market, held the last Saturday of every month, and our December Holiday Markets. Email marketmanager@haymakermarket.com for more information.

  • Schedule and Payment Terms

  • Vendor fees are $40 per week or $120 per month.

    If Vendors are no longer able to attend a Saturday Market, they must notify the Market Manager via email: marketmanager@haymakermarket.com by 00:00 MM on the proceeding Tuesday.

  • I acknowledge that I have been provided with a copy of the following:

    • Haymaker Farmers' Market Vendor Rules
    • Haymaker Farmers’ Market Producer-Only Guidelines
    • Haymaker Farmers' Market Anti-Harassment & Anti-Discrimination Policy

    And I will abide by these rules and guidelines.

    I understand that I am required to carry my own personal and product liability insurance policy and provide proof of that policy upon request.

    I understand that I will be responsible for being aware of and obtaining any and all licenses and inspections as required by the Ohio Department of Agriculture and by the governing Health Department and following all of their requirements.

    I also understand my participation may be terminated without refund of fees for violation of the market rules and that no refund will be given for vendor fees.

    I further agree to allow representatives of Haymaker Farmers' Market to visit, with prior notice, the premises where the products I intend to sell are produced.
