Gainey Estate Vineyard Private Tour & Tasting: Led by one of our Sommeliers, join us for a private immersive tour of our vineyards and winery, followed by a detailed and informative tasting of our current wines from both the Gainey Estate Vineyards in Santa Ynez and Evan’s Ranch Vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills. Subjects will be wide-ranging covering all aspects of viticulture, winemaking, terroir and all things vinous. This experience will be complimented by a curated selection of California cheeses and charcuterie with all the accoutrements featuring local dairies and purveyors. Please allow 75-90 minutes for this experience.

1891 Barn Tasting: Dating back to 1891, the historic barn at Gainey Estate Vineyards is a very special part of California's old west and our 600 acre property. Led by one of our Sommeliers, guests will be driven through the vineyards to a private seated tasting where we will have a detailed and informative selection of curated wines from both the Gainey Estate Vineyards in Santa Ynez and Evan’s Ranch Vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills. The tasting will end with a side-by-side vintage comparison of our most celebrated wine, the Patrick’s Vineyard Selection Cabernet Sauvignon Blend. This experience will be complimented by a special selection of California cheeses and charcuterie with all the accoutrements featuring local dairies and purveyors. Please allow 90 minutes for this experience.

Terroir Tasting: Geek Alert. Join our Estate Director, Stephen Janes, in our Private Cellar for a detailed tasting focusing on the concept of terroir, a French term used to describe the location and environ¬mental influences affecting grape and wine quality. Using several different of our estate bottlings, we will taste through various lots highlighting examples of wines grown in different vineyards and regions in Santa Barbara County. We will discuss why and what the influences are affecting each wine’s aroma, taste, complexity and quality with conversations wide-ranging, educational and covering all things vinous. This experience will be complimented by a curated selection of California cheeses and charcuterie with all the accoutrements.

Evan’s Ranch Vineyard Private Tour & Tasting, Sta. Rita Hills: Led by one of our Sommeliers, join us for a private immersive tour of Evan’s Ranch, our Estate vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills, followed by a detailed and informative tasting of our current wines from Evan’s Ranch Vineyard. We will walk through specific blocks tasting wines grown from those same exact blocks. Subjects will be wide-ranging covering all aspects of viticulture, winemaking, terroir and all things vinous. This experience will be complimented by a curated selection of California cheeses and charcuterie with all the accoutrements featuring local dairies and purveyors. Please allow 75-90 minutes for this experience.

Red Wine only and White Wine only flights are also available. No outside food is allowed except for at our Vineyard View Lawn location.

Gainey Estate Vineyard Wine by the Glass or Bottle: Enjoy a glass or a bottle of wine in one of our many beautiful outdoor and indoor locations and revel in the beautiful sweeping views of the Santa Ynez Valley or take in the rustic elegance of our original barrel room. No outside food is allowed except for at our Vineyard View Lawn location.

Evan's Ranch Tasting Room Flight: Enjoy a seated tasting led by one of our Wine Specialists featuring the small production Evan’s Ranch Estate wines from our vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills. Planted in 1997 and known for its refrigerated-sunlight growing conditions, this is an excellent compare and contrast tasting of two Chardonnays, two Pinot Noirs and two Syrahs. Following the tasting, one can enjoy the rustic charm of Los Olivos, which was founded in 1887, filled with artisan restaurants, art galleries and other tasting rooms.

Evan's Ranch Wine by the Glass or Bottle: Enjoy a glass or a bottle of wine featuring the small production Evan’s Ranch Estate wines from our vineyards in the Sta. Rita Hills. Planted in 1997 and known for its refrigerated-sunlight growing conditions, we have a compelling offering to try of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Syrah. Following the tasting, one can enjoy the rustic charm of Los Olivos, which was founded in 1887, filled with artisan restaurants, art galleries and other tasting rooms.
