Residency Dates
What is your ideal length of residency and when? This information will be used by the selection committee to award scholarships and assign residency dates. PLEASE NOTE that it is your responsibility to inform us by email if your availability changes between the time you submit this application and when our selection process begins in January. Once residency dates are awarded and assigned they cannot be changed. *
We support residencies of 2 weeks or longer. We do our best to accommodate an applicant's preference, but flexibility is important. PLEASE NOTE all residencies begin and end on a Monday.

Do you have any blackout dates or spans of time within those months that you are unavailable? Do you have a hard stop or hard start date? Keep in mind that all residencies begin and end on a Monday. Please let us know here (i.e. "I selected May but I teach until May 15th and cannot attend until May 20th at the earliest" -or- "I selected June and July but I'll be on vacation from July 10 - 20").*
We are unique in that we provide residencies for dates that work for you, but this process is very complex and once we assign dates in February, it is unlikely that we can change or adjust.

Please follow these instructions closely for your application to be accepted. Name each document accordingly with your last name and the document name. Example: Smith-Resume.pdf, Smith-Statement.pdf, Smith-WritingSamples.pdf etc. We will not accept files that are not named and formatted correctly.
