PAWSS Appointments

 

Please select and checkout to complete registration for an appointment. Your PAWSS discounted cost for one spay/neuter is $45 which must be paid in advance. THE CLINIC BUILDING ADDRESS WILL BE SENT VIA CONFIRMATION EMAIL UPON BOOKING.

 OTHER SERVICES: You can get many other services for your animal(s) at the clinic. NOTE: These services can only be added on at the clinic day.

Cat Flea Treatment (Bravecto topical): $30 (effective for 3 months)
AVID Microchip: $30
Nail Trimming: $10
Ear Mite Treatment: $15
Dewormer (Full Spectrum): $20
Cat Vaccine (FVRCP-LK): $35
Testing for FeLV/FIV (Cats only): $30
Rabies (1-Year Vaccination): $15

PAYMENT: For surgery cost(s) and other services, we accept CASH / CREDIT / MONEY ORDER and payment can be made during check-in or discharge.  If you have a voucher or financial assistance code, please present it during check-in.

AFTER YOU SIGN UP, NOTE THE CLINIC LOCATION AND TIME FROM YOUR CONFIRMATION EMAIL AS THIS INFORMATION IS ONLY GIVEN WHEN YOU SIGN UP.

YOU ARE SIGNING UP FOR THE CLINIC CHECK-IN WHICH TYPICALLY TAKES ONE HOUR OF YOUR TIME. The clinic will last much longer and your cat will be discharged later the same day.

Check-In will start promptly at 8:30 am LOCAL TIME. All cats will be checked in and later discharged to your vehicle. Do not get out of your car, a staff member will check your cat in from your vehicle. You will be given time to return to pick up your animals later the same day, no cats stay overnight.

It generally takes about one hour of your time in the morning, so please plan on being there from 8:30 until 9:30 AM. You will be given the time to return to pick up your cats when you check-in.  Pickup will be sometime in the afternoon or evening, usually before 7 PM.  ALL ANIMALS ARE DISCHARGED THE SAME DAY.

Public Vet S/N Tattoo Policy

Tattooing is a mandatory part of our service. All animals that come to Public Vet are tattooed "PV" in the left ear, and the females are also tattooed on the belly. If your pet is lost, it has a much better chance if it is fixed and has an identifiable spay/neuter tattoo. In the event that a cat is found by someone else and taken to be spayed/neutered, the doctor's time is not wasted and the cat is not put through a redundant surgery. Please do not bring your pet(s) to Public Vet if you do not agree with our policy.

THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

WE PREFER YOUR PET IN A CARRIER WITH 2 CLEAN TOWELS. If you are unable to provide a carrier, we will have a limited supply of cardboard carriers at the clinic for $15/each
LOOSE CATS / broken carriers are not allowed! PLEASE COME PREPARED!

PLEASE NOTE: Cats are DOMESTIC ANIMALS and they require owners. If there is not someone willing to accept ownership of the cat (feral or not) then you must resolve this issue first. If you are feeding a cat for more than 4 days, then you are assuming ownership. All cats that are brought to the clinic must have someone willing to accept ownership so we know that our patients will have the support and care they deserve.
