As a Seasonal Production & Baker, you are part of the team that produces Made By Marcus ice cream from start to finish. You will work in a commercial production kitchen where consistency and food safety matter. You will follow recipes and prep standards accurately, support daily production goals, and keep the workspace organized and clean. This role is hands on and physical. You must be able to stand and work on your feet for extended periods and lift and carry heavy product up to 50 lbs.
This is a fixed term seasonal role. If you complete your full contract and meet performance expectations, there may be an opportunity to stay on past the end date, based on business needs. The seasonal term may run through to the end of October.
Wage: Starting wage is $17.00 per hour, plus tips. Pay is issued every two weeks on Friday. Tips are distributed according to the company tip policy.
You will
• Learn and follow recipes accurately and consistently
• Follow directions confidently and precisely
• Prep, produce, and portion ingredients and product to support daily production plans
• Monitor and accept daily deliveries, then store and rotate product correctly
• Keep dry storage, walk ins, and fridges organized, labeled, and clean
• Maintain food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards every shift
• Use and care for production equipment and tools, report issues quickly
• Communicate clearly with the production team, FOH, and leadership when support is needed
• Support production questions from shops when required, including answering phones or clarifying ingredients and processes
Work expectations
• Shifts may be scheduled between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM based on production needs
• Overtime may be required at times to meet operational needs
• Arrive at least 5 minutes early, ready to work at your scheduled start time
• Treat all team members with respect. Harassment, bullying, threats, discrimination, or abusive behaviour is not tolerated
• Full time applicants must provide availability Monday - Friday and weekends as needed

Kitchen standards
• Personal mobile phones are not permitted in the production kitchen
• Follow uniform and grooming standards, including hair restraints and beard nets when required
• Clock in and out on the Square iPad each shift for accurate timekeeping
