ALEX

Hey, beautiful, can I sit with you?

JASMINE

ALEX

I know the first day at a new

School can be weird, so I’ll help.

First off, I’m Alex, and here everyone is broken into groups. You

have the cheerleaders, athletes, gays, gang members, lames, nerds,

and the naturally popular kids.

JASMINE

ALEX

Hey, I heard you lost your parents I’m sorry, where are your from

JASMINE

I’m from Cincinnati but I don’t want  to talk about my family.

ALEX

I understand my mom died from covid  so, I get it.

 

JASMINE

I’m sorry to hear that.

ALEX

Hey, it’s cool, I just take it one day at a time.

JASMINE

Actually, do you mind if we talk later I got to go.

ALEX

Oh... Ok, catch you later. What’s your snapchat and Instagram?

JASMINE

I don’t have either my parents were  kind of strict and didn’t want me

getting distracted.

ALEX

Oh wow, Ok. So, what’s your next class.

JASMINE

Ummm idk

ALEX

Let me see your schedule

Jasmine hands him the schedule.

  she cools, and I definitely think me and you have chemistry.

Alex smiles they get up to walk out and someone bumps JASMINE  so hard she spills liquid all over her and ALEX. They turn around and Kelly fisher looks them up and down Everybody laughs and she walks off. 

ALEX (CONT’D) *

I’m so sorry, really Kelly, and you wonder why I won’t date you.

Kelly Blows a kiss to Alex and walks off *
