Juneteenth Celebration
EVENT DAY GUIDELINES & PROCEDURES:
SET UP: Saturday, June 22, 2024 7:00am-10:00am
EVENT: Saturday, June 22, 2024 11AM - 7 PM
CLEAN UP: Saturday, June 22, 2024 7pm-8pm
Vendors (and assistants):
SetUp is between 7AM-10AM NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Tables will be provided: Vendors are required to provide all necessary items like table cloth/cover, a tent.
- Shall not remove their booth/sales table prior to the end of the event.
- Must maintain their spaces in a clean condition and remove all waste before leaving the event.
- Are expected to display professionalism, courtesy, and respect, when speaking or dealing with ANY guest.
NOTE: NO ITEMS THAT ARE IMMORAL, ILLEGAL OR DANGEROUS WILL BE ALLOWED, IF THE COMMITTEE FEELS ANY ARTICLES ARE QUESTIONABLE, REMOVAL WILL BE REQUESTED. NON-COMPLIANCE WILL CAUSE THE VENDOR TO BE ASKED TO LEAVE.
The Plano Juneteenth Commitee and the Plano African American Museum reserves the right to market you/your items before/during/after to include social media and photos (we use a photo taken at one event including your picture to advertise our next
event).
LIABILITY: Vendors shall comply with all laws, ordinances, rules and regulations of any lawful authority, agency or government unity which apply to the use of its vending space, including without limitation, any state or local applicable fire and building code and/or health regulations applicable to the locality in which the event is taking place.
The Vendor shall be solely responsible for any and all injuries to persons or damages to property or any other injury, claim, damage or loss of whatever nature, arising from or related to the Event. Vendor shall indemnify, save and hold harmless The Plano Juneteenth Commitee and the Plano African American Museum, its agents and volunteers from and against all liability, loss, damages, claims, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising out of injury to person (including death) or damage to property or any other injury, claim, damage, loss, cost or expense arising from the Event performed by vendor including, but not limited to, any negligence, act or omission of vendor.
The Vendor agrees to accept responsibility for all materials and goods furnished by him/her, and used or displayed in the booth area and accepts full responsibility for his/her personal property. Vendor agrees that The Plano Juneteenth Commitee and the Plano African American Museum, its volunteers and agents shall have no responsibility whatsoever for any loss or damage to vendor’s equipment, supplies, goods or other property.
The Plano Juneteenth Commitee and the Plano African American Museum shall not be liable for any loss or damage to the property of vendor or any of its representatives, employees, agents, patrons and guests, because of fire, robbery, accidents, or any other cause whatsoever that may arise from vendor’s use or occupancy of its allocated space during the Event.
The Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Plano Juneteenth Commitee and the Plano African American Museum representatives, and agents against any and all claims of any person whomsoever, from acts or omissions of the vendor, its representatives, employees, agents, patrons, or guests.
