    The Smart Hustle  Entrepreneur in Residence Internship program runs from October 5, 2024 to June 1, 2025, with Orientation on Saturday September 28. You will complete a minimum of 216 hours and a maximum of 264 hours (or approximately 6-8 hours/week), earn college credit, and up to $2,640 in wages!

    **PLEASE NOTE: You must have completed another YEI program, a Business class at your school, or participated in partner program before you can participate in our Resident Entrepreneur Internship.

    If you have not one of these programs and/or are not currently running a business, please apply to the Social Enterprise Internship. More details and registration information for that program can be found on our website.

    **IMPORTANT: Our internships are in person, therefore, you must live in  Washington, DC to participate.

    There are additional mandatory dates listed on the Youth Entrepreneur Institute's website. Please review for your availability.

      Completing this form is a step towards expressing your interest in joining the Youth Entrepreneur Institute (YEI) Resident Entrepreneur Program as part of the School Year Internship Program (SYIP) for School Year 2024-2025. YEI partners will DOES to offer this program, so to be eligible to receive stipend, you must also register and complete all requirements set forth by the Department of Employment Services (DOES). After completing  the YEI application, youth will also need to turn in documentation to DOES to be eligible for the paid component of the program. Interns will need to submit their documentation  and application to DOES via this link by the deadline.
