We're excited to invite you to an exclusive one-day woodworking workshop, where you'll have the opportunity to explore the world of woodcraft alongside our esteemed 3rd generation master craftsman from Marunao Japan.
Takahiro Fukuda, the third-generation owner of Marunao, brings over a century of woodcraft expertise from Niigata, Japan, to Los Angeles for its first workshop in the United States. Experience the mindful art of carving your own chopsticks under the guidance of a master craftsman.
With a legacy spanning over a century, Marunao creates top-quality chopsticks using heritage techniques passed down through generations. Crafted from all-natural materials and meticulously handmade by artisans, Marunao's chopsticks are favored by chefs worldwide and trusted by luxury fashion houses in France and Italy. As one of only four company-direct operating stores worldwide (located in Paris, France; Tokyo and Niigata in Japan; and Los Angeles in the USA), ARJ is proud to host Marunao's first workshop in the United States.
During the workshop, you will use original tools and materials imported from Japan. Participants will take home up to 2 pairs of chopsticks they craft, along with a special gift commemorating Marunao's 85th anniversary. Additionally, each participant will receive an exclusive invitation to Marunao's anniversary celebration party on June 9th at 5pm.
Limited spots are available. To reserve yours, please submit this form and complete the RSVP.
