The internship for the Media Environmental project involves working on various tasks related to environmental issues and communicating them through different media channels. The responsibilities will include researching environmental issues within Gulu Uganda, creating content such as articles, blog posts, and poems, conducting interviews with the community, experts, or stakeholders, and assisting in the overall project management.
This internship offers a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about both media and the environment to make a tangible difference. Interns will work together in groups of two to highlight an environmental issue faced by populations in Northern Uganda. They will then conduct research and in-person interviews to tell their unique stories through a chosen medium of one of the following:
- Short stories
- Poems
- Featured Stories
- News Articles
- Playwriting
- Screenwriting
- Non-fiction Writing
- Graphic Novels
- Photo Stories
- Children's Books
- Collection of blogs
These stories will then be compiled into a digital magazine and distributed throughout as a method of spreading climate awareness to the global community.
