Eligibility & Judging Criteria
Rookie of the Year

Recognizes a new STC individual member who has actively participated on an STC committee or task force, hit the ground running, and made an immediate impact.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Any individual member of the STC in good standing and in their first 18 months of STC involvement is eligible.
- Member can be shown to be having a positive impact on an STC committee or other volunteer position.
- Board Directors are prohibited from receiving an award while they are serving.
JUDGING CRITERIA
- Explanation of volunteer positions held at the STC
- Nominee’s tangible accomplishments
Lifetime Achievement Award

Recognizes an outstanding STC individual member who has made a national or international impact on the artificial turf industry and has dedicated their professional life to the advancement of the industry and promoting the ideals of the STC.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Member must no longer be in the synthetic turf industry. This award may be presented posthumously.
- Member must have at least 10 years of consecutive membership in the STC.
- Member must have served the STC in a leadership capacity (board member, committee chair, task force chair, etc.)
JUDGING CRITERIA
- Candidates will be evaluated in terms of their contribution to the STC and the industry as a whole
- Promotion of the industry and STC ideals through other organizations
- Involvement in philanthropic projects
- Nominee’s contribution towards industry advancement in their particular segment
Volunteer of the Year

Recognizes an STC individual member who has exhibited effort above and beyond the call of duty in helping the STC and promoting our mission.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- Any individual member of the STC in good standing with at least two (2) consecutive years of membership is eligible.
- Member must have served the STC as a member of a committee, task force, or other volunteer position.
- Board Directors are prohibited from receiving an award while they are serving.
JUDGING CRITERIA
- An explanation of the nominee’s volunteer activities
- A description of how the nominee’s activities have supported the STC’s mission
- An explanation of what makes this nominee’s contributions exceptional
