TMFNC PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
I agree to respect the rights, dignity and worth of fellow players, officials and spectators.
I will refrain from conduct that could be regarded as harassment, whether verbal, physical or sexual in nature.
I agree to care for and respect the uniform and equipment provided to me.
I agree to be an active club members and will accept all allocated jobs from the rosters, including but not limited to canteen shifts, catering for functions, umpiring, scoring, cleaning, timekeeping etc.
I will be honest with my coach concerning illness and injury and my ability to play and train fully.
I will conduct myself in a responsible manner relating to language, temper and punctuality.
I agree to maintain a high standard of personal behaviour at all times.
I will abide by the rules and respect the decision of the umpires.
I will be courteous and use the correct process when seeking a rule clarification.
I will be honest in my attitude and preparation for training. I will work equally hard for myself and my team.
I will cooperate with the coaches and staff in relation to programs that adequately prepare me for competition.
I will not engage in unsafe practises that will adversely affect my sporting performance. (excessive alcohol/tobacco/drug use etc.)
I will refrain from any behaviour that may bring my club into disrepute. (This includes on and off field behaviour, behaviour at Club functions and comments made on social networking and on other sites and in the media).
I will not discriminate against any player, member, volunteer or official due to their gender, sexuality, ability, cultural background or religion.
TMFNC PARENT/GUARDIAN CODE OF CONDUCT

I agree to encourage my child/ren to participate in the appropriate sport, however, will not force him/her to participate if they are not interested/willing. I understand that children are here for an organised activity for their own enjoyment, not mine.
I will focus upon your childs efforts and growth, rather than the overall outcome of the game. I will assist my child in setting realistic goals related to his/her ability and celebrate their achievements, rather than emphasising winning.
I will teach my child that an honest effort is as important as victory.
I will encourage my child to always play according to the rules and within the spirit of the game.
I will never ridicule or yell at a child for making a mistake or losing a game.
I understand that children learn by example and will proactively be a model of good sports behaviour.
If I disagree with an umpire or a coach, I will raise the issue through appropriate channels, rather than question their honesty or judgement in public.
I will support all efforts to remove verbal or physical abuse from the club.
I recognise and respect the value and importance of volunteers, administrations, coaches and umpires and will not contribute to a negative experience for these individuals.
I agree to be courteous with administrators, coaches, players and umpires and will teach children to do the same.

TMFNC SUPPORTER CODE OF CONDUCT
I understand that there is zero tolerance on verbal abuse to any umpire, TMFNC players, opposition players, TMFNC officials or opposition officials.
I agree to abide by The TMFNC culture of supporting the red, black and white; I will support my team passionately, without dissent or verbal abuse.
I agree to assist the TMFNC in building a respectful culture, by respectfully addressing poor behaviour with other club members and asking them to display a more appropriate demeanour.

TMFNC GOOD SPORTS POLICY
All committee members, subcommittee members, coaches, players and officials must agree to the Good Sports policy at the start of each season.
ADULT DRINKING
1. Abide by the rules of responsible serving of alcohol to adults. If a person has consumed too much alcohol they must be given water and not served any more alcohol.
2. Any person that purchases alcohol for a person that has been “cut-off” will also be stopped from receiving more alcohol.
UNDERAGE DRINKING
1. No underage person is to be served alcohol.
2. Zero tolerance on underage drinking on our reserves or at functions.
3. If an underage person is found to be in possession of alcohol it is to be removed.
DRUGS
Zero tolerance on drugs being used or in possession of any person at the reserves or at any club function.
TMFNC MEDIA TERMS
Any person under the age of 18 needs consent for photos to be published – this consent is deemed to have been given by being a financial member or player of the TMFNC unless specifically advised by the individual that this consent is not given

OBJECTIVE
It is the TMFNC responsibility to take all reasonable steps to protect and care for all members and families.
RESPONSIBILITY
Due to the difficulty of being involved in a country community the TMNC has enlisted the assistance of the CMFNL. The TMFNC welfare officer will work through each issue under the Complaints Resolution Process. If at any stage the investigation becomes a conflict of interest for all parties involved, the welfare officer will send the investigation to the CMFNL to coordinate.
MEMBER ACCEPTANCE
As a member of TMFNC, you accept and understand that the TMFNC administrators are volunteers who have a moral and legal obligation to report incidents to the club welfare officer and committee if required.
MESSENGER GROUP CHAT POLICY
The TMFNC Welfare Officer (Carlee Muir) must be notified of any private group chat associated with a playing group within the club.
TMFNC will not permit any messenger/closed Facebook, or any other forms of closed group chats, for any junior sporting teams, unless parents are included in that group. The preference for all communication with junior teams will be via the TMFNC official Facebook page (this includes Colts and U17 Netball).
No player under the age of 18 is to be included in a senior group chat without parental approval.
One committee member must be included in all group chats and at any stage a TMFNC committee member has the right to shut down the group if the conversations are not in line with the policy.
A group messenger is only to be used as a tool, by the coaches and administration, to notify players of training schedules, game day plans and club events.
There is zero tolerance for any negative comments in regards to CMFNL, Other CMFNL clubs, CMFNL players, TMFNC administration, other TMFNC players.
TAPING POLICY
The TMFNC are committed to the health and safety of all particpating members of the club. However, in recent years, there has been an increase in special requests and/or advanced techniques for taping requirements.
The TMFNC Trainers are supportive of providing injury prevention assistance, as long as these measures are medically necessary.
For the 2025 season, and beyond, only basic taping techniques will be applied, unless a medical professional provides written advice to request otherwise. Alternatively, players may provide their own tape for any specialist taping.
