Please note the age range for new applicants is 14-17 years old, returning youth can be 15-18 years old.
Completing this form:
- This form may take 10-15 minutes to complete.
- This form is a 'Returnee Youth Application' exclusively for young people who have previously attended a LIFEbeat summer camp.

Returning Youth Application

This page is to be completed by the young person.
Spaces at camp are in high demand, and we ask young people who are returning to camp to step into the role of youth leaders within the camp community. Please note that there are limited spaces for Returning Youth Leaders at camp this summer... Before you apply, it’s important you understand the role of Returning Youth Leader and what we expect from your participation at camp.
What LIFEbeat expects of Returning Youth Leaders:
- Be a positive role model.
- Support young people coming to camp for the first time.
- Participate fully in community workshops, workshops and family groups.
- Take the lead to encourage others where possible.
- Think about your personal goals for camp and how to get the most out of the experience.
- Step up and take some creative risks - be willing to try new things.
- Be willing to take up one youth leadership role/task (workshop/discussion lead, open-mic MC etc.)
- Help bring the LIFEbeat culture and positive vibes to camp.
- Collaborate with the staff to co-create the kind of community you would like to be a part of.
- Respect camp boundaries around phones, smoking, vaping and safety.
- Follow the non-negotiables of camp. Returning Youth Leaders who break the non-negotiables may be asked to leave camp and will not be able to apply again in the future.

Returning Youth Leaders will be invited to make a donation to LIFEbeat's summer 'Big Give Campaign' to support our ongoing charitable work. The campaign will be live from 3rd-17th June 2025, where all donations made to LIFEbeat will be matched. We will send through details closer to the time.
Please note that there are limited spaces for Returning Youth Leaders at camp this summer, but there will be other opportunities to connect with the LIFEbeat community during the year. Please let us know your goals for attending camp and we will review all 'Returnee Applications' once submitted, and be in touch to confirm places shortly after the deadline closes.
