United Church of Canada - Annual Camp Statistics

Camp statistics are collected at the national level to provide a consistent comparison of camp actiity from year to year. The stats reflect the impact that camps have in providing a faith connection for children and youth. In addition to the camp stats, the following annual reports are required as part of accreditation: Annual Compliance Form, Annual Report/AGM Minutes, Board Member List, Financial Statement and Insurance Statement (for current camp season). Reports are to be submitted via your Church Hub account by May 31.
Explanations and Definitions
- All information refers to the summer season with regard to camp sessions.
- No. of resource staff: programming-type staff.
- No. of support staff: kitchen, maintenance, and office/administrative staff.
- Other staff: staff whose function is not reflected in one of the above categories―please be specific.
- No. of camp sessions: actual number of camps offered―i.e., weekly sessions offered.
- Capacity/session: total campers the facility can accommodate.
- No. of campers (season total): total campers who participated during the summer.
