  • Pre-Treatment Instructions for PMU: 


    Brows: 


    1. Avoid Blood Thinners: Refrain from consuming blood-thinning medications or supplements like aspirin, ibuprofen, and fish oil for at least 24 hours before the treatment to minimize bleeding and bruising. 


    2. Avoid Alcohol and Caffeine: Limit alcohol and caffeine intake 24 hours prior to the procedure to reduce sensitivity and minimize bleeding. 


    3. No Waxing or Plucking: Avoid waxing or plucking the brow area at least two weeks before the procedure to ensure optimal hair growth and a well-defined brow shape. 


    4. Avoid Sun Exposure: Minimize sun exposure and tanning beds to prevent skin irritation and ensure even pigment absorption. 


    5. Consultation: Attend a consultation session to discuss desired brow shape, color, and any concerns with the technician. 


    Liner:


     1. Avoid Eyelash Extensions: Remove any eyelash extensions at least two weeks prior to the procedure to allow the technician to work on the natural lash line. 


    2. Avoid Contact Lenses: If you wear contact lenses, switch to glasses on the day of the procedure to prevent irritation and ensure comfort during the treatment. 


    3. Discuss Allergies: Inform the technician of any allergies or sensitivities to topical anesthetics or pigments during the consultation. 


    4. No Makeup: Arrive with clean, makeup-free eyes to allow the technician to assess your natural lash line and design the eyeliner accordingly.

    Lip Blush:

    3. Sun Protection: Apply SPF lip balm daily to protect your lips from sun damage and prevent pigment fading.


     4. Exfoliation: Gently exfoliate your lips a few days before the procedure to remove any dry, flaky skin and promote smooth pigment application.

    3. Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your brows from direct sunlight and tanning beds to prevent fading. Apply sunscreen to the brow area if you need to be outdoors. 


    4. Avoid Touching: Resist the urge to touch or scratch the treated area to prevent infection and premature pigment loss. 


    5. Gentle Cleansing: After 24 hours, gently cleanse the brow area with a mild, unscented cleanser and water. Pat dry with a clean towel, avoiding rubbing or pulling on the skin. 


    6. Moisturize: Apply a thin layer of ointment or provided aftercare cream to the treated area twice daily to keep the skin hydrated and promote healing. 


    7. Avoid Exfoliants: Refrain from using exfoliating products or treatments on the brow area until fully healed to prevent premature fading of the pigment.


    Liner: 


    1. No Eye Makeup: Avoid wearing eye makeup, including mascara and eyeliner, for the first week post-treatment to prevent infection and allow the pigment to settle. 


    2. Avoid Rubbing: Refrain from rubbing or scratching the treated area to prevent irritation and premature pigment loss. 


    3. Protective Shield: If provided, continue wearing the protective shield over the treated eyelids for the recommended duration to protect the area and promote healing. 

    4. Gentle Cleansing: After 24 hours, gently cleanse the eye area with a mild, unscented cleanser and water. Pat dry with a clean towel, avoiding rubbing or pulling on the skin.


    5. Moisturize: Apply a thin layer of ointment or provided aftercare cream to the treated eyelids twice daily to keep the skin hydrated and promote healing.

     

    6. Avoid Swimming and Saunas: Refrain from swimming pools, saunas, and hot tubs for at least two weeks post-treatment to prevent infection and minimize pigment loss. 

     

    Lip Blush: 


    1. Avoid Water and Moisture: Keep the lip area dry for the first 24 hours post-treatment to allow the pigment to settle. Avoid drinking through straws and consuming hot liquids during this time.

    4. Avoid Touching: Avoid touching or rubbing your lips to prevent irritation and premature pigment loss. 


    5. Gentle Cleansing: After 24 hours, gently cleanse the lip area with a mild, unscented cleanser and water. Pat dry with a clean towel, avoiding rubbing or pulling on the skin. 


    6. Moisturize: Apply a thin layer of ointment or provided aftercare cream to the lips twice daily to keep them hydrated and promote healing. 


    7. Avoid Spicy Foods: Refrain from consuming spicy foods for the first few days post-treatment to minimize discomfort and irritation.
