C.L.I.P. Hoops Memorial Day Shootout

This Memorial Day, C.L.I.P. Hoops is bringing you something different. We are excited to host a unique basketball opportunity for boys and girls in grades 4-10! Our Memorial Day Shootout will offer a jam-packed, 90-minute competitive shooting experience that will include:

30-minute Shooting & Skill Evaluation Combine
Shootout Team Draft (4 teams - 8 campers each)
60-minute Competitive Team Shootout (will include a variety of team shooting drills and competitions)
Awards for our winning teams and competition champs

Our Memorial Day Shootout will be held at Roberts Wesleyan University at the Voller Athletic Center and additional details can be found below. We hope to see you in May!

Memorial Day Shootout - Camp Details

Session 1: 9am - 10:30am (Grades 4-6)

Session 2: 11am - 12:30pm (Grades 7-10)

***This is a Co-Ed opportunity open to boys and girls from any school district.***

Each child should bring their own basketball, if possible. We will have plenty of extras available, if needed.

Parental Consent & Liability Release

I hereby give my approval for my child’s participation in any and all activities prepared by C.L.I.P. Hoops during the selected camp. I hereby waive and discharge any and all claims for damages for personal injury or property damages of which may hereafter occur to my child as a result of their participation in said basketball camp. This release is intended to discharge in advance, C.L.I.P. Hoops and Roberts Wesleyan University. This includes all coaches and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, university staff, and volunteers. By accepting the terms of my child's participation in the C.L.I.P. sponsored event, I assume all risk and hazards incidental to the conduct of the activities, and release, absolve and hold harmless C.L.I.P. Hoops and Roberts Wesleyan University, and all its respective staff, volunteers, and representatives from any and all liability for injuries to said child arising out of traveling to, participating in, or returning from camp.

In case of injury to said child, I hereby waive all claims against C.L.I.P. Hoops and Roberts Wesleyan University including all coaches and affiliates, all participants, sponsoring agencies, university staff, volunteers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of premises used to conduct the event. There is a risk of being injured that is inherent in all sports activities, including basketball. Some of these injuries include, but are not limited to, the risk of fractures, paralysis, or death.

Medical Release and Authorization

As Parent and/or Guardian of the named athlete, I hereby authorize to have the above applicant treated by emergency medical personnel, a physician, or surgeon, in case of sudden illness or injury while participating in the above camp and all associated activities while attending said camp. It is understood that C.L.I.P. Hoops, the Rochester RazorSharks, and Roberts Wesleyan University will provide no medical insurance for such treatment, and that the cost thereof will by my expense.
