The Blue House Too is a vibrant multi-use space with a Gallery and an Art/Maker Space.
Workshops are held in the Makers Space which contains table and chairs for use, a wash sink and trash recepticle. SOME shared reuseable supplies may be available for use during workshops, but must be left in the space after use.
Consumable supplies in the space, are for Allen Arts Alliance Classes and Camps, and the Artsparks program only.
All consumable supplies for workshops must be provided by the Workshop Instructor. Supplies should be factored into your class fee. Disposable Table coverings should be used on all tables used during workshops.
Set-up and Clean-up are the responsibility of the Workshop applicant. The Blue House Too Maker Space, should be left in the same contiditon after a workshop as it was before. Trash must be removed from the space after the workshop.
All workshops must be approved by the Blue House Too Gallery Manager, and any changes from the form must be reported to VALA and Blue House Too.

The Blue House Too Maker space is rentable at a hourly rate that has been established by the Allen Arts Alliance. VALA is a Non-profit organization that is a member of the Allen Arts Alliance, and are contracted to allow VALA member's to run art workshops in the Blue House Too at a special member rate of $37.50/per hr.
VALA will set up registrations though our website and promote your Workshop. Applicant will be responsible for creating a promo piece for the workshop with all relevant information.
Applicant will be responsibile for paying the space rental fee, online transaction fees for registration payments(~4%), and a general registration set-up and FB Ads boost fee of $20. All other revenue generated by the workshop is paid to the Workshop Instructor after the workshop is completed.
You may run a workshop directly through the Blue House too if you wish, or if you are not a current VALA member. Contact BlueHouseToo@AllenArtsAlliance.org for rates. All art instructors teaching all forms of media to all kinds of ages are welcome to apply to have an art workshop at Blue House Too! Background checks are required.
