Mabuhay International Festival

One Mabuhay Volunteers is proud to organize the celebration of 126th Philippine Independence Day to bring together the Filipino Community of Alberta and other nationalities. The Philippine Independence Day is a significant occasion for our community, marking the anniversary of the Philippines' declaration of independence from Spanish colonial. Each year, our celebrations commemorate the rich cultural heritage and contributions of Filipinos to society, fostering unity and pride among our people.

This year One Mabuhay Volunteers strives to deliver a unique experience expecting more than 5,000+ attendees.

What to expect on the day of event:

• Parade with community leaders
• Mountain bike show
• Parade of motorbike riders
• Cultural performances
• Job fair and exhibits 
• Food trucks and local vendors 
• Zumba Dance Party
• Numerous interactive activities planned between sponsors and attendees.
• Tamiya Race (participants are from other provinces)

Platinum Package - $3,500.00

• One (1) Booth space in prime location at event grounds (10'x10'ft)
• Exclusive branding on main stage banners
• Company name/logo will be featured in all event promotions including: posters, flyers, digital ads, social media page, and press releases.
• Company banner will be presented at the main stage.
• Audible shout outs throughout the event.
• Cross promotional social media shout outs leading up to the event.
• Opportunity to speak at the main stage (3 minutes)
• Opportunity to award the winners of Battle of the Bands and Tamiya Race Competition.
• Souvenir Program
• Certificate of Appreciation
• Tables and chairs will be provided

Gold Package - $1,500.00

• One (1) Booth space (10'x10'ft)
• Company banners to be displayed at event grounds.
• Company name/logo will be featured in: posters and social media page.
• Audible announcement and shout outs throughout the event.
• Cross promotional social media shout outs leading up to the event.
• Souvenir Program
• Certificate of Appreciation        

Silver Package - $500.00

• One (1) Booth Space 10'x10'ft (Please bring your own table/chair/tent)
• Cross promotional social media shout outs leading up to the event.
• Audible announcement and shout outs throughout the event.
• Souvenir Program
• Certificate of Appreciation

Bronze Package - $250.00

(Extra $50.00 for Food Truck)

• One (1) Booth Space 10'x10'ft (Please bring your own table/chair/tent)
• Cross promotional social media shout outs leading up to the event.

 

Payment Options:

a. Cheque Payable to: One Mabuhay Volunteers

Cancellation:
a. In the event of vendor cancellation, the 30% of the full amount is forfeited.
b. Alberta-mandated restrictions. A full refund will be provided if the event is cancelled due to provincial health restrictions.

Permits and Insurance:
a. All vendors must have appropriate City of Edmonton business licenses and permits, and it is preferable to carry your own insurance, be it property or business insurance.

b. All vendors must be able to produce sufficient documentation upon application and on-demand when on site. Food concessionaires must prominently display their food booth permit, authorized by the City of Edmonton or AHS.

c. No food vendor can start operations without AHS approval. One Mabuhay Volunteers is not responsible for providing this certification to vendors.

City of Edmonton and Alberta Health Services require that vendors have at least one certified vendor on site at all times. One Mabuhay Volunteers is responsible for enforcing this law and failure to comply will result in the forfeiture of your booth and all payments. There will be no exceptions.

Please note that SILVER AND BRONZE SPONSORS must bring their own tables, chairs, and tent.
