    The EU General Data Protection Regulation requires organisations to obtain an individual’s agreement to their personal information held on and processed by the organisation’s database to confirm their agreement to the use of their personal information in the function of that organisation.  To confirm your agreement, please answer the following three questions by ticking the appropriate box.

  • Are you content for your personal information, ie Rank, Name and contact details to be retained on the SRNOA database?*
  • Do you give your permission for the SRNOA Committee to use my personal information held on the Association’s database to contact me on matters regarding the Association.*
  • The Association may arrange for photographs or videos to be taken of Association activities and published on our website to promote the Association.  Do you consent to your image being used by the Association in this way?*

  • NOTES:

     Full Membership (M) is open to:

    (i) Serving or retired officers of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines and their Reserves,

    (ii) Former officers of the Women’s Royal Naval Service and its Reserve,

    (iii) Officers and former officers of the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service and its Reserve,

    (iv) Serving and former officers of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary,

    (v) Former officers of the Royal Naval Auxiliary Service,

    (vi) Serving and former officers of the SCC and CCF(RN) and VCC,

    (vii) Serving and former Honorary Officers of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines and their Reserves.

    (viii) Serving and former full members of the Royal Corps of Naval Constructors

     Associate Membership (AM) is open to:

    (i)  Serving and retired officers of His Majesty’s Armed Forces other than those eligible for full membership,

    (ii) Serving or retired certificated deck, engineering and electronics officers and pursers and medical officers of the Merchant Navy,

    (iii) Those civilians with an interest in the Royal Navy,

    (iv) Widows and widowers of former members,

    (v)  Serving or former officers of the non-naval cadet forces.
