  • Lease Agreement

    Please initial each paragraph, signifying you have read and fully understand each section of this lease agreement. This lease will become fully binding upon the date of BOTH Lessee and Lessor signatures required below. (The following must be initialed and signed by Lessee.)
  • 1) Membership
    The person signing this lease agreement must be a tithing member in good standing.      

    2) Flat Fee
    There is a fee of $300, which includes a cleaning fee and a sound & lighting technician.
          

    3) Damage Deposit
    Lessee shall pay a $200 refundable damage deposit. The damage deposit will be refunded once Church of His Presence personnel inspects the building and no damage is found. Any additional damage charges over $200 will be charged to the Lessee.         

    4) Payment Policy
    All Fees must be paid 30 days prior to the event.      

    5) Set up time
    There will be time allotted to allow for set-up and decorations, not to exceed two days prior to the event.      

    6) Beginning time
    Access to the building for decorating, etc... is not granted until the start time stated on the contract, AND all outstanding balances have been paid.    

    7) Departure time
    All decorations must be removed, and the building must be returned to its original condition by the all ending time stated on the contract. The facility must be vacated by 8 PM on Saturdays.         

    8) Media, Lights, Sound and Instruments
    Only approved members of the Church of His Presence Media Department are permitted to use our equipment. A list of approved individuals will be provided by the church office. An appointment must be scheduled three weeks prior to the event to work out details with Steve King. Visiting keyboardists must use the Church of His Presence keyboard.         

    9) Stage
    The stage area is limited to modification due to expensive equipment and technology. ONLY the items listed on the stage layout can be removed from the stage.         

    10) Decorations
    Lessee, Lessee's agent, employees, guests, or anyone entering the building that are under the supervision of the Lessee may not move or remove Church of His Presence owned decorations or any equipment in the facility or on the property. Decorations cannot be hung on the walls, and tape cannot be used on the floors. NO glitter or confetti is allowed in the building.         

    11) Linens, Tables, and Chairs
    Church of His Presence has a limited number of linens, rectangular tables, and folding chairs available. All linens, rectangle tables, and folding chair orders placed with Church of His Presence must be received at least 14 days prior to your event. Please keep this in mind and let your event coordinator know your linens, rectangle tables, and folding chairs request as early as possible. If a larger amount of linens, rectangle tables, and folding chairs are needed, they can be ordered at your cost from Miller's Grand Events, 25341 Highway 181, Daphne, AL, 251-625-4910. NOTE: USE OF SANCTUARY CHAIRS ARE NOT PERMITTED OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDING.              

    12) Floor Plan
    The final floor plan should be submitted at least 14 days prior to the event. The Lessor must see and approve the final floor plan. ***Please note there will be no floor plan changes on the day of the event due to staff limitations.         

    13) Smoking and Alcohol
    NO Smoking or Alcohol is allowed in the church building or on the church grounds.         

    14) Children
    CHP does not provide any area of its facility under this lease agreement for the use of childcare. If children are present, they must be supervised at all times for safety/security reasons and should remain with a parent or guardian. Any damage or broken items caused by lack of supervision will all be the Lessee's responsibility.         

  • Witnessed, that for and in consideration of the respective covenants and agreements herein expressed and of the faithful performance by the Lessee of all such covenants and agreements, the Lessor does hereby demise and lease to the Lessee, and the Lessee does hereby rent and take as Lessee the described premises of Church of His Presence, Daphne, Alabama for the above dates and times and amended dates and times. It is agreed that the Lessor and the Lessee, by execution of this agreement, covenant and agree that they will faithfully perform and abide by each and every term, condition, and limitation of this agreement, each of which shall be a condition subsequent to the continuance in effect of the contract.
