Make up and Shaving - After a low or mid energy treatment it can be up to 3 days before you are able to shave or wear make-up. For high energy treatments avoid shaving or make up until the skin has healed.
When make-up is applied it is advised to use a mineral based type. If in doubt, please ask your practitioner. The new skin that is produced must be treated gently.
Sun Exposure and Tanning – All sun exposure and tanning treatment must be avoided for at least 3-4 weeks after a AgeJet treatment. If exposed to the sun, the skin must be protected by a high factor SPF and wearing sun protective clothing. Sunglasses will also be required, expecially in cases where the eyes have been treated.
Exercise and Hot / Cold Exposure - During the first week after treatment avoid any activity that will increase the blood flow such as exercise, or exposing the skin to hot or cold temperatures - such as a sauna or winter sports. These kinds of activity will aggravate the skin and induce redness or swelling while the skin is starting to repair and heal.
