  • 2 - STOP SIGNS: Either what to watch out for along the path ("low road" behavior), or how to prepare before you begin.

    This will help you easily recognize and notice when you need to pause and reorient.

  • 3 - DETOUR: How do you get back on track?

    When you've noticed you're off track, what can you do to get back on track?

    We want to identify our "Default response" - what behavior we'll take when we notice we're off track. We identify it ahead of time because we don't have access to higher level thinking from a low-energy state, where bad decisions can be made!

    Self-hypnosis, going on a walk, petting a cat, listening to or playing music, etc.

  • 4 - ROUTINE: what happens regularly to take you to the top of your mountain?

    What does your daily routine look like, that eventually guides you to your goal?

    Knowing what you'll do everyday, and generating a routine makes it easy for you to be successful and routines serve us because in times of stress we can fall back on our healthy and established routines.

  • 5 - BASE CAMP: your Base Camp is a milestone along the Mountain Path - a place of rest and refreshment and an intermediate goal to celebrate that you are on the right track!

    We all need reassurances that we are headed in the right direction and making progress. 

  • 6 - THE UNSEENS: There are elements here you don't see yet.

    Friends, guides, supporters, alive and passed. Real or imagined. Professionals like a mentor or a coach (or, yes, even a HypnoCoach).
