Terms and Conditions
Fees
Fees are charged per overnight stay and there is a minimum stay of 3 nights.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Deposit payment will act as an agreement that the customer accepts our terms and conditions. The remaining balance is due on or before the arrival date. Deposit payments must be made within 72 hours from booking. The dates will be re-released automatically by the booking system unless an agreement to pay has been made with Raybrook Pet Lodge.
Cancellations
Please let us know as soon as possible if you no longer require the booking, this enables us to offer the place to another customer if needed. Cancellations or amendments within 14 days of the arrival date will result in the full boarding fees being due for payment. Cancellations made within 28 days of your booking (And over 14 days) will result in the loss of your deposit. For cancellations made over 28 days in advance, the deposit may be transferred to a future booking at the discretion of the Raybrook Pet Lodge or alternatively your deposit will be refunded minus an admin fee of £15.
If you need to increase your pets stay or visits this will be charged at the daily rate and will need to be confirmed with the Raybrook Pet Lodge. You are welcome to collect your pet early if you wish to, please be in contact with us to arrange this. There will be no refund for early collections.
Accommodation
Outdoor accommodation – Our outdoor boarding facilities are in a safe, weatherproofed environment. Each house is inside a fox proof enclosure with access 24/7, the enclosures are 55sq ft each. The enclosures will be locked at night with a secure lock. The houses are cleaned with animal safe products between guests and your animal will arrive to fresh bedding and hay. The guinea pig lodge is heated for colder weather and is in a shaded area to prevent overheating in hot weather.
Indoor accommodation for hamsters, mice and rats – The cages (Provided by you, the owner) will be kept in our home in a safe space. The cages will be spot cleaned daily and fully cleaned and bedding replaced weekly.
All bedding, hay and fresh food are provided. Please provide your pets pellets.
All areas are maintained daily and have a deep clean and bedding replaced every 7 days. Bowls, water bottles and litter trays will be cleaned daily. Litter trays or toileting areas will be cleaned every other day and every day in warm weather.
Medication/Health
Please inform us prior to booking if your pets have any health conditions that we need to be aware of. We can administer your pet’s medications during their stay, please leave instructions for this.
In the unlikely event your pet should need veterinary care we will contact you or your emergency contact in the first instance. Raybrook Pet Lodge accept no liability for illness, injury or death or any costs relating to your pet. All veterinary costs, and any other costs associated with the pet will be at the owner’s cost.
We do not charge to take or collect your pet to the vets. The pet will be booked in under your name and address at the vets. We will use your vets if within 5 miles to us otherwise we will use our local vet.
Raybrook Pet Lodge will accept no responsibility of any pet pregnancy as all our animals are kept separate unless stated by you.
Raybrook Pet Lodge reserves the right to refuse admission to any pet displaying signs of ill health pending veterinary advice.
Please make sure your rabbits are up to date with vaccination and that we are shown proof of this. Your booking will be refused if proof is not shown and the balance will remain.
