Dr Marie Grace Delizo is a Pediatrician - Fellow of the Philippine Pediatric Society (seeing patients from newborn until 18 years old) and an International Board-certified Lactation Consultant (helping parents and babies with issues like milk supply, sore nipples and breastfeeding positions.)

An actual physical examination is still recommended to make a sound and accurate diagnosis; and is not a substitute for a regular face-to-face consultation at the out-patient clinic. To make healthcare accessible and easier for patients, Dr. Delizo does online consultations but with limitations to the actual physical examination of the patient.

However as mentioned, there are limitations with an online consultation:

1. This only caters to patients with Non-Emergent conditions. Patients who have urgent need of healthcare assitance are advised to go to the Emergency room for immediate care.

2. The doctor won't be able to do a proper physical examination and will mostly rely on parents' history and description of the chid's condition/s.

3. There will be a limited time to consult (15 minutes only) so only immediate concern will be addressed, other issues will be discussed in the clinic.

4. Prescriptions will be given online if deemed necessary.

5. Medical certificates will NOT be provided since the patient was not examined in-person

6. Recording of the video consultation is not allowed on both sides and posting is in violation of the Data Privacy Act. 

7. Once appointment has been made and you click "Submit Form", it is understood that you are fully aware and informed fo the said limitations and the doctor will not be held liable for any misunderstandings regarding the consult.

8. By submitting this form, you are consenting to participate in a telemedicine consultation. You are acknowledging that you have read and understand the provisions in this form; and that Dr. Delizo has explained to you how telemedicine video conferencing works with no guarantee that this Telemedicine Consultation will eliminate the need to see a doctor in person.

In compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, otherwise known as the Data Privacy Act, your private, personal, or any sensitive information collected during this consultation is protected. The forms are archived for a maximum of 30 days after which it will be deleted. Respiratory conditions require proper physical examination, and online assessment may not be sufficient to ensure safe and accurate management.
