NON-PROFIT TABLE RULES AND REGULATIONS
The Orinda Association is now accepting applications for non-profit organization tables at the Fourth of July events at the Orinda Association July Fourth Celebrations. The tables will be open from 10:00am-1:30pm on July 4th. Only non-profit organizations may participate, with first priority going to Orinda based organizations.
WHERE:
Up to fourteen of the tables spaces will be available in front of the Orinda Community Center in the area designated by the Orinda Association Fourth of July Committee (OAFOJC). No canopies are permitted, but small well secured umbrellas are acceptable. Tables applications will be processed on a first-come first-served basis.
Final table locations are not guaranteed and application approvals are made at the sole discretion of OAFOJC.
SET-UP AND FEE:
A fee of $55.00 will be charged. Each table space will be equipped with one table and 2 chairs included in the fee. The non-profit organization is responsible for clean-up of their booth space (leaving the table and chairs) no later than 1:30 pm on the 4th.
PERMITTED ACTIVITIES AND RULES:
- A non-profit organization may provide information, hand out literature, recruit new members or provide a public service (i.e. child fingerprinting, crime prevention, disaster training, vision screening, etc.) to all participants.
- No items are to be sold and no donations may be accepted, including opportunity drawings or raffles.
- Food or beverages may not be distibuted with the exception of a wrapped piece of candy.
- Organization must provide a list of free giveaways no later than June 28th to be approved by OAFOJC no other items may be distributed.
- Organization is not allowed to project any sound or music from their table.
- The organization is required to have an adult present during this entire time from 10:00 am to 1:30 pm.
- All signage, activities and displays must be contained in the assigned area of the non-profit table area. Any items outside of that area will be removed.
FEES:
The applicant agrees to pay $55. Should it become necessary to withdraw after approval of your application OAFOJC, fees are considered to be a direct donation to The Orinda Association, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
HOW TO APPLY:
Fill out the form below, submit your payment and agree to be bound by these rules and regulations to apply for a space in the Orinda 4th of July non profit table area. Applications will be proccessed first come first considered. This form must be submitted no later than JUNE 28th at 5 pm. If your application is approved by the OAFOJC you will receive an email notification of your acceptance.
