MSCE Staff Medical Benefits Policy
Each full-time employee of MSCE shall be entitled to claim for himself/herself and his/her spouse, dependent parents and dependent children (until the calendar year that any such child turns 21 years old) on a reimbursement basis for costs and expenses incurred in relation to medical treatment (including traditional Chinese medicine), dental treatment, optical treatment and applicances, personal medical insurance premiums, medical health screenings, vaccinations, medicine and health supplements, but subject always to the following:
a. There shall be a cap of S$600 per annum for each full-time employee of MSCE.
b. The benefit (including the cap) shall be reviewed by the ECC (excluding pastoral staff) biennially.
c. All claims shall be made with accompanying official receipts and submitted before 31 December of each relevant calendar year.
d. Any unutilised portion of the benefit cannot be carried over to the following year.
e. The benefit will be subjected to prevailing tax and CPF regulations, where applicable.
f. No claim under this benefit shall be made:
i. if such expenses are claimable under the Group H&S/GMM Insurance Plan No. 3 or other group or individual insurance; and
ii. for any expenses relating to cosmetic, aesthetic or beautification purposes.
