Judging Overview
Each category (Fiction, Nonfiction, Art & Photography and Specialty Title) has its own jury of readers and at least one Jury Leader. Books are judged in two rounds on overall quality, including content, originality, appeal, integrity/authority, writing style, art, design and quality of production. The first round of judging will result in a short list of Finalists, from which the category winners will be chosen.
Readers evaluate books using the form below. At least two evaluations are required for each book. Then completed Evaluations will be distributed to the entire panel of readers for each category. The panel will meet to review the results and make the finalist selections. These selections are not based solely on the numerical values, but titles must score highly to become finalists.
Fill out and submit the form below one for each book you are evaluating. Deadline: May 10, 2024.
Thank you for your participation!
