1. Dress Code: Shorts no shorter than mid-thigh and fitted to the waist. No undergarments should be visible. Shirts must cover the stomach and undergarments. No T-shirts with inappropriate writing. Girls’ swimsuits should be modest. (Tankinis are permitted).
2. Homesickness: Visiting or calling your child during camp week is strongly discouraged. It upsets campers and is unfair to other children whose parents honor this policy. Every attempt is made to make camp as fun and enjoyable as possible, however, if your child becomes inconsolably homesick, the Camp Director will call you to pick him/her up. Because we do whatever it takes to help every camper have a wonderful camp experience, this seldom happens.
If a child does go home, they will not be allowed to return to camp.
3. Illness: Our camp nurse will be on call to bandage any cuts, scrapes, or bumps as needed. If your child is ill or injured, we will notify you immediately. Please call us and do not bring your child to camp if he/she has vomited, had a fever, or been exposed to any communicable disease 24 hours prior to check-in.
4. Behavior: To maintain an environment for fun and learning, campers must follow the camp rules and cooperate with the counselors and other campers. Campers who are consistently misbehaving and uncooperative will be sent home.
