Travel Insurance is highly recommended! Travel insurance may provide benefits covering trip cancellation, interruption, or delay, medical expenses, evacuation, lost or delayed baggage, and other losses while traveling. Carefully read the terms and conditions of the travel insurance policy before you purchase it. Protect yourself and protect your investment by purchasing a travel insurance policy for your trip. If you choose to not purchase a travel protection policy, you are solely responsible for any cancellation penalties and out-of-pocket expenses incurred. Without insurance, there may be no way to recoup any losses, costs or expenses incurred.

CRITICAL SECURITY INFORMATION
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has ruled to switch pre-departure watch list matching responsibilities from individual airlines to the DHS and the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Under this new Secure Flight ruling, all passengers must provide legal names, date of birth, and gender at the reservation time. The data must match the name on their valid, non-expired. The government-issued photo ID shown at the airport (including middle names, first or middle initials) Names on the passport and booking must match exactly and be spelled correctly.
*Passports are required for international travel and all air departures to or from the United States.
*Passports must be valid for no less than six months after completing the trip and contain enough blank pages for entry and exit endorsements and any required visas.
Example:
*If the government-issued ID you plan on using at the airport reads: "John C. Doe," then your reservation must be made to match precisely, including first name, middle initial, and last name.
*If the government-issued ID has a complete middle name: "John Charles Doe," your reservation must be made to match exactly, including first name, middle name, and last name.
If the name you provide at the time of reservation is different from your government-issued ID, you must notify me immediately to avoid any fees to revise the ticket.

REAL ID-COMPLIANT
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Texas Department of Public Safety remind Texas residents that starting May 2023, travelers will need a REAL ID-compliant form of identification to board a flight at all U.S. airports. Texas has been issuing REAL ID-compliant licenses and ID cards since October 2016. To determine if a Texas driver's license is REAL ID-compliant, look for the cutout of a gold star in the upper right-hand corner of the license.

TSA PRE-CHECK ELIGIBLE
If I am TSA Pre eligible, am I guaranteed expedited screening?
No, TSA uses unpredictable security measures, both seen and unseen, throughout the airport. All travelers will be screened, and no individual is guaranteed expedited screening. It is possible that your traveling partner will have TSA Pre-printed on their boarding pass, and you won't even though your TSA Pre number has been added to your airline reservation. TSA Pre-check is determined by TSA and beyond our control.
Why can't I use the TSA Pre lanes when traveling on any airline?
Passengers must be traveling on an airline that has entered into a partnership with TSA. Under this partnership, TSA works with the airline to establish system and checkpoint requirements and determine the operation of TSA Pre✓® lanes at airports.

JONES ACT and CABOTAGE LAW (REGARDING CRUISING)
The Jones Act (also known as the Passenger Services Act) does not allow ships of the Non-U.S. registry to embark and debark guests at two different U.S. ports since travel between U.S. ports is prohibited on foreign-flagged ships. Note: Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands (St. Thomas; St. Croix; St. John) are not in the category of U.S. ports under this act.
Guests cannot pre-plan or purposely embark or debark a ship in a U.S. port that will violate the Jones Act. Any guest who insists on disembarking the vessel in a port that violates the Jones Act will accept responsibility for any resulting penalties.
Cabotage Law is the term used in Europe - Similar to the Jones Act, the Cabotage Law is the transport of passengers between two points in the sea country by a vessel registered in another country. This law does not affect guests joining the ship or leaving the ship in different ports in Italy.
MANDATED TRAVEL INSURANCE
Depending on the country you're visiting, you may need to purchase a travel insurance plan that provides a certain level of coverage. Wherever you are traveling, be sure to research your destination's entry requirements beforehand, so you don't get caught without the necessary coverage. You can review these requirements on the country's official immigration website. Although proof of travel health insurance isn't required for entry to many countries, purchasing a plan will provide the security you deserve if an accident or emergency arises while you're away from home.
Many foreign medical facilities and providers require cash payment upfront and do not accept U.S. insurance plans. Medicare does not provide coverage outside of the United States. Check your U.S. health care policy to see if it will cover you overseas. If not, consider buying supplemental insurance. Make sure the insurance you purchase covers any special medical need or risks you anticipate on your trip. Evacuation for medical treatment or to leave a crisis area in another country can cost more than $100,000. You should strongly consider purchasing evacuation insurance in case of an emergency overseas. Trip interruption or cancellation, flight delays, lost or stolen luggage, and other unexpected travel costs can add up.
TRAVELERS NEEDING SPECIAL ASSISTANCE
Please report any disability requiring particular attention at the time the reservation is made. If you require wheelchair assistance at the airport or a hotel room equipped for special needs, please let me know asap.
The Americans with Disabilities Act only applies to the United States. Many international destinations cannot accommodate passengers' requests. The vendor will make all reasonable efforts to provide tour participants' individual needs, but it cannot guarantee that all requests will be honored on international destinations. The vendor also regrets that it cannot provide individual assistance to a tour member with special needs for walking or other unique personal needs. It is strongly recommended that persons requiring assistance be accompanied by a companion who is capable and entirely responsible for the aid.
AIRLINE SCHEDULE CHANGES
Please note that airline schedule changes and or Equipment size changes occur at the discretion of the airline and can happen at any time and are beyond our control.
AIRLINE SEAT REQUESTS
Seats are controlled by the airline, and to have a better chance of getting the seat preference, please submit all seat requests as soon as possible. Otherwise, seats are assigned randomly by the airline and may not accept any seat changes after they are set. We will request this from the airline, but it is just a request and is not guaranteed. Please note airlines DO NOT pre-assign exit row seating or bulkhead seating; we cannot put in these requests. These requests have to be done at the airport when checking in.
AIRLINE BAGGAGE FEES
All airline baggage fees assessed by the airline are the traveler's responsibility and are not included in the cost of your trip.
Before departure, always check with the specific airlines you will be traveling for listings of their current baggage fees. These fees are still subject to change, with no notification to the vendor or you, the traveling passenger, and this is at the discretion of each airline
FREQUENT FLYER AND KNOWN TRAVELER NUMBERS
It is the responsibility of the traveler to provide their Known Traveler Number of Airline Frequent Flyer Number. Please submit these numbers (s) as soon as possible to make sure they are included in your AIR reservation.
