Being a Blueberry Trail Maid is a high honor. BTM duties will entail hosting the Christmas Open House at The Holley House which benefits Camille Place in Monroe County, a home for young girls who have been trafficked. We will have several other scheduled events throughout the year. There will be mandatory classes you are expected to attend as well as mandatory events. We will provide you a tentative schedule at interviews and you will be asked to sign a pledge to attend. Blueberry Trail Maids are expected to conduct themselves as ladies as you not only represent The Holley House, but also the greater Brewton community.
If you are selected, we will have fundraisers to help us fund this program. Every girl will receive a BTM tshirt, a nice professional dress, a BTM pin, and will participate in several team building activities throughout the year. Our goal is for each girl to have no out-of-pocket expenses to partcipate in this program. If you do not meet your fundraising goals, there will be out of pocket expenses for you. We don't want to give you fish, we want to teach you to fish and will guide you through that process.
***Blueberry Trail Maids does not discriminate against race, color, religion, political affiliation, sexual orientation, or socio-economics.
APPLICATION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 10:00 p.m. on MAY 1, 2024.
