Membership to BGSW is for Black women currently enrolled in or a graduate of a Council on Social Work Education (CSWE)-accredited Social Work program. This includes the following degree programs only: BSW, MSW, DSW, PhD in Social Work.

Applications received after September 11, 2025 will be reviewed and processed in 2-4 weeks.
