Let's talk art.
The 2025 Installment of Artport, unlike any past installment, will feature a variety of artistic mediums - extending beyond the traditional dimension of canvas. The theme of this installment lends itself to expressing the many dimensions of Shreveport's culture, but also the new dimensions of Artport. Each new dimension (or medium) of Artport, whether it be traditional or large format canvas, digital art, mural, or sculpture, is assigned to a certain category of content within the theme.

Let's talk about the auction.
Rooted in the community, Artport selects a non-profit organization to operate and benefit from the Opening Night Silent Auction, raising more than $135,000 since its inception. Each artist is required to contribute to the auction offerings, submitting a painted or embellished specialty item from a list of predetermined items. Traditionally, this contribution has been a painted tile but we are opening up the pool as a result of our dimensional theme. Which item would you want to paint or otherwise embellish to be auctioned off on Opening Night?
