Once your application has been received, vet references will be checked to verify that current and prior pets have been kept up to date on all vaccinations and heartworm preventatives for the last 3 years.

In order to adopt or foster, PRA requires that all other dogs in the house be spayed/neutered*.

If you have not kept your current pets up to date on their medical care (including vaccinations and heartworm preventatives), your application will be put on hold until these requirements have been met.
* If the pet is not spayed/neutered due to age or by vet recommendation, this will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
