Researching How the Potential and/or Realization of Parenthood and Motherhood Affects the Actions and Lives of Birthing People, Women, and Mothers.
This is part 1 to our free-to-access data collection project. My name is Zanele, I am a young cis, queer Black woman with hopes to have children one day as well as to continue following my passions. I am running this project voluntarily and therefore unpaid in service to a greater need for more information on the experiences and needs of mothers, women, all birthing people, all families, and our larger society. This survey is for all people with birthing capabilities. This includes cis-women, trans men, non-binary people with birthing capabilties, and all other people biologically capable of pregnancy and birth. I am collecting the questions you (and we) want to be studied and answered by fellow members of our community. Right now, I am running the behind-the-scenes on my own but hopefully with your participation this will soon become a blossoming, rich, and vital community resource free-to-access and use for all our initiatives for change. I will be publishing all results on www.awakeningekhaya.com (the website is a work in progress, bare with me!) Thank you for your time and participation! Ask away! If you require support please email support@awakeningekhaya.com for help (that's me!).
This survey reflects Part 1 of our first data collection initiative in service to better understanding the needs of mothers, parents, and children.

You made it! This is where you share your questions with us. What questions do you want included in this first study? There are no bad questions! This is our chance to get a say in the data we have collected about our lives, our choices, and our needs. This will aid in the programs, funding, and change implemented installed to support us. What do we NEED answers to? Whats a statistic you want to see? Anything you just know more birthing people want to talk about/hear about, create the opportunity here! Have a need you want researched and perhaps funded/served, create the questions that will help us gather data to show why its so important. Chances are, you're not the only one! Again, there are no limits. Ask away! And share with your friends, family, and community! The more voices the better!
