Hello!
Thank you for considering the 2026 WV Oil & Gas Festival Jr. Royalty pageant on July 11, 2026 in Sistersville, WV at Tyler Consolidated High School. This pageant will feature ages 2-12 who will be involved with the WV Oil & Gas Festival on September 19, 2026. Contestants are required to be a resident of WV. Pageant registration will be 8:00am-8:15 am with our pageant starting at 9:30 am SHARP. Each divison will have a Queen, Runners-Up, Prettiest Hair Award, Prettiest Smile Award, Best Dressed Award, and there will be an overall Fan Favorite out of all age divisions.
It is very improtant that all contestants arrive ready to compete and ON TIME. We are on a strict schedule due to having the Teen & Queen pageant later in the day. All contestants are asked to arrive as ready to compete as possible. We will have limited space to change into evening gowns, but please arrive Hair/Make Up ready!
If you are not on time and ready to go you will NOT compete and will NOT be eligible for a refund.
We will NOT tolerate any bad sportsmanship from contestants, parents, or audience members. This is a pageant that is supposed to be fun and help these little ones build confidence while having a wonderful pageant experience.
Judges scores/decisions are all final! COMMENT sheets will be available via email for a 1 week window after the pageant. After July 18, 2026, all score/comment sheets will be shredded and discarded. If you are interested in receiving your child's COMMENT sheets (not SCORE sheets), please email wvogfpageant@gmail.com after the pageant but before July 18, 2026. No comment sheets will be provided at the conclusion of the pageant!!
Entry fee is $50 per child. Each contestant will receive a nice gift bag full of prizes, gifts, and treats. Each division will have a Queen, Runners-Up (amount to be determined by number of contestants per division), Princesses (contestants who do not finish as a Runner-Up or Queen), a Best Dressed Award, a Prettiest Hair Award, and a Prettiest Smile Award.
Fan Favorite:
There will be a Fan Favorite of the Junior Royalty Pageant crowned. This Fan Favorite will be determined by the contestant who obtains the highest amount of votes. Votes are $1 each. Votes can be cast by sending payment via PayPal to wvogfpageant@gmail.com, by Venmo to @WVOGFPageant, or by cash the day of the pageant up until the announced cut off time. Please send money only via friends and family if money is sent electronically! The contestant's name must also be listed on the payment when it is sent. The total number of votes raised by each contestant will not be released to any other contestant. The Fan Favorite will receive a crown, sash, plaque, and a nice gift basket. Make sure to get your friends and family involved, it is always so fun to see who will be our Fan Favorite! We are excited to see who will be our WVOGF Junior Royalty Fan Favorite!
Applicaitons are due by 10:00 pm on June 28, 2026 WITH PAYMENT AND PHOTO. No late entries will be accepted! NO EXCEPTIONS!
Divisions:
Toddler Miss (2-3 years)
Tiny Miss (4-5 years)
Little Miss (6-8 years)
Jr. Miss (9-12 years)
Dress Code:
Contestants are asked to wear an evening gown of their selection. This can be a short formal dress or floor length dress. Rhinestones and glitter are also allowed and encouraged!
Onstage Presentation:
Contestants will be asked to walk in a simple onstage presentation. No previous pageant experience is necesssary! One (1) parent/guardian will be allowed to assist their child onstage in the Toddler Miss and Tiny Miss divisions only. Little Miss and Junior Miss contestants will walk onstage independently. Contestants in the Little Miss and Junior Miss divsions will be asked a SIMPLE onstage question from the information on their bio. There will be no onstage question for the Toddler Miss and Tiny Miss divisions.
Photos:
A headshot photo of each contestant needs to be submitted for social media postings. This photo should be of the child's head and shoulders only!! Please be mindful that the child's face is clearly visible in the photo. By entering this pageant, you authorize the WV Oil & Gas Festival to add your child's photo to social media to advertise for the Jr. Royalty Pageant.
Payment:
Your $50 sponsorship fee needs to be submitted through PayPal to WVOGFPageant@gmail.com or Venmo to @WVOGFPageant. This is due by June 28, 2026 at 10:00 pm. No late payments will be accepted!!
This will be a fun and quick morning and all winning royalty will be asked to come back to the Queen's pageant that same evening, if possible. Our Junior Royalty are always a HUGE hit at our Festival and we look to continue the traditon of wonderful Oil & Gas Queens! Our new Jr. Royalty Queens will be asked to ride in the grand parade at the WV Oil & Gas Festival, attend the festival grounds, assist in any awards presentations that would be needed on September 19, 2026, and make appearances throughout the year. Our Junior Royalty are included in all aspects of our Festival, just as our Teen and Queen! Our new Queens will sign a simple contract but they will be allowed to hold other WVAFF titles as long as they are able to show equal attention to all titles held!
