  • 2025-2026 Nebraska Poultry Education Scholarship

    Application Deadline - December 15, 2024
  • Nebraska residents, those attending school in Nebraska, or those interested in a career that is directly poultry-based in Nebraska are encouraged to apply for the Nebraska Poultry Education Scholarship.  A total of five $1,000 scholarships can be awarded for the 2025-2026 academic year. The five scholarships are awarded based on college credit hours completed (0-26 Freshman, 27-52 Sophomore, 53-88 Junior, 89 or more Senior, Bachelors Degree as of June 2025 Post-Grad). Read and follow the instructions carefully prior to submitting your application. All winners will be notified no later than February 6, 2025.

    Transcripts are required for all submissions. Submissions will not be considered if a transcript is not received.

    New for 2025-2026 Application
    Applicants must be interested in a career that is directly poultry-based in Nebraska.

  • If selected, the scholarship will be awarded directly to the educational institution. Applicants and winners are encouraged to apply each year and can be awarded the scholarship multiple times but not totaling more than $1,000 per academic year.

    Winners are required to attend the Nebraska Poultry Industries conference on March 6, 2025, to be presented with the scholarship.

    Non-traditional students interested in a career that is directly poultry-based are encouraged to apply.

  • VI. Agricultural Mentor Reference - Required

  • An Agricultural Mentor Reference can be a teacher, advisor or mentor who can endorse your interest in poultry. Reference cannot be provided by a family member. They will be contacted directly by the scholarship committee to provide a reference.
