Hackster's 2024 Impact Summit is a three-day virtual developer summit November 19-21 that includes live hardware demos and workshops, panel discussions, awards recognizing individual developer achievements, and more.

Our 2024 Impact topic is focused on sustainable farming and agriculture. We’re inviting technologists, community trailblazers and technology providers to specifically explore how to develop technologies that yield higher crop productivity, reduce the impact of farming on natural ecosystems (environmental/ecological impact), control/lessen runoff of chemicals into rivers and groundwater, increase worker safety, create safer growing conditions and safer foods, improve production, and reduce food waste.

We want to see what projects, products and grassroots initiatives you have built and deployed relating to this topic. Complete this form to submit your proposal for any of the following session types:

    • 10-minute community spotlight virtual presentation
    • 30-minute technology showcase/demo
    • 45-minute workshop/project build-along

Deadline to submit a proposal is July 8, 2024.

You will be contacted regarding your submission on or before August 30, 2024. If you need to make updates to your application, please contact us at impact@hackster.io.

  • 10-Minute Community Spotlights: These sessions are short presentations to showcase a project or initiative you are working on that relates to sustainable agriculture. Due to the limited time available for these sessions, all Community Spotlight sessions are pre-recorded prior to the live event.

Demos and workshops: These sessions are designed to provide a more hands-on learning opportunity for our audience such as teaching about a sustainable agriculture related initiative and how people can get involved, showcasing a product and how it's being used in the field, or presenting an in-depth project tutorial walk-through, demonstration or live build. For demos and workshops we encourage you to present your session live during the event to allow for more interaction with the audience including a live Q&A. We understand that this is not always possible, therefore we do have options to pre-record if necessary.
