Green & Yellow bags are available for pick up starting on the 4th of May at the Boy Scouts (1400 Gillam Way), Green Star (2134 Texaco Avenue), Central Recycling Facility (1855 Marika Rd.), Golden Heart Waste Management (3859 Peger Rd.), & Cowles Heating (1675 Richardson Highway). Yellow bags are also available at most fire stations.

If your group organizes a clean-up on a different day than May 16, 2026 you will need to have someone take all bags to the FNSB landfill (455 Sanduri St.). Remember to secure your load! Fairbanks Heavy Haulers will collect all bags (including green recyclable bags) left at intersections and along main streets. Pick-up will ONLY be on May 16th. Please do not take bags to the transfer site or leave them by the road after Clean Up Day-they will not be picked up.
