Cheer tryouts
Athletes will be evaluated on the following categories:
Running tumbling (2 passes)
Standing tumbling (2 passes)
Jumps (best single jump AND double jump)
Stunting (primary and secondary stunt positions)
Motion technique/dance
Teams will be created based on individual evaluation, in addition to, the overall needs of the team.
Athletes with no prior experience will be led throughout the tryout process by a coach.
Any athlete wanting to be considered for L3 or L4 must be able to execute an extended lib in their primary or secondary stunt position for 4 counts. If unable to extend, athlete will be evaluated on prep level lib.
Parents of athletes are not permitted to contact gym owners/coaches until 24 hours after team reveal.
