2024 Stiegl Radler Cocktail Competition

STIEGL RADLER COCKTAIL SEASON HAS ARRIVED!

As the evenings draw out and the days become slightly warmer, our Stiegl ‘Summer of Radler’ cocktail competition returns this month.

With the final taking place on Thursday 11th July, entries for the annual competition are open now, challenging the best bartenders and mixologists in the UK to create their own Stiegl Radler beer cocktail. The creator of the winning cocktail will receive a grand prize of £1,000 and a year’s supply of either Stiegl Grapefruit or Raspberry Radler.

Now in its fifth year, the 2024 competition will be open to any bartender or mixologist working in the UK (regardless of whether their place of work stocks Stiegl beers). Entrants will need to simply fill in a basic application form, upload details and a photo of the cocktail, prominently featuring a can of Stiegl Grapefruit Radler or Stiegl Raspberry Radler.

Entries are open now and will close on Wednesday 26th June. An initial paper judging will then take place, followed by a social media vote which will whittle the entries down to just five. The five most popular cocktails will then progress to the live final.

All you need to do is get your thinking cap on and your apron and ingredients at the ready. Entrants will be limited so contact your Beer Ambassador for details and let us know if you need some Stiegl Grapefruit or Raspberry Radler to play around with.

What could I win?

· The winner will receive £1000 and a beer everyday for a year.

How it works

· Open to any bartender/mixologist working in the UK

· Apply via this site, fill in the basic application form, upload details of the cocktail, the recipe, ingredients, method and an image of the cocktail with the Stiegl Grapefruit or Raspberry Radler Can featuring prominently

· The deadline for entries is Wednesday 26th June 2024

· On the 27th June, an initial paper judging will take place to shortlist a minimum of 20 creations

· These will then be put forward to a vote on social media with the five most popular progressing to the live final

· This live final will take place on the 11th July with industry experts on hand to judge the drinks and to announce the winner. The winner will receive £1,000, a beer a day for a year and a bundle of personalised cocktail gear.
