Filling out this form is NOT a guarantee of reservation or availability, someone from Hirundo Wildlife Refuge will be in contact with you to confirm your reservation. Canoes and kayaks are available on a first come first served basis.

RESERVATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED PAST 5:00 PM ON THE THURSDAY BEFORE YOUR DESIRED FREE PADDLE SATURDAY DATE

CANCELLATIONS on the participants end must be made by 5pm the FRIDAY before your scheduled paddle. Please email: info@hirundomaine.org

Our Free Rental Program is only held on Saturdays, if you would like to book a private reservation on another day of the week for a small fee, please see THIS form or contact info@hirundomaine.org

More Rental Info

Rentals include: the boat of your choice (canoes, kayaks, double kayaks), pfds, and paddles. A staff member will be there to assist you in and out of the boat upon request (they can place the boat in the water, stabilize the boat while you enter/exit, and hand you your things once you are in/out).

I understand that this is a request and I will receive an email confirmation of my reservation on the Friday before my Saturday rental request.

I understand that a waiver will be sent that each person/guardian must complete before the date of the paddle.

I understand that if a representitive of Hirundo Wildlife Refuge cannot get in contact with me to confirm the reservation, that my reservation will be cancelled.

I understand that Hirundo Wildlife Refuge reserves the right to cancel rental request for inclimate weather.
