YouthCares offers hands on experiences with school age children for individuals who have a desire to further their career or have a passion to work with children.We are seeking part - time summer camp counselors and after - school counselors for the 2025 - 2026 school year.
The counsleors will assist and collaborate with the YouthCares Director to serve as a mentor and assist students with homework both one on one and in small groups. Create and supervise daily activities along with tracking and reporting student progress on a weeky basis.
*Preferred candidates should be at least 16 years of age.
*Be knowledgeable of the structure and content of the english language to include the basic definitions and spelling of terms, rules of composition and grammar.
* Be knowledgeable in basic and middle school math and algebraic concepts.
After School Hours : Monday - Friday 2:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Van Driver 1:30 pm - 6:00pm
Summer Hours : 7:30am - 5:30pm
