The SALALM Repository, hosted at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, serves as the platform for storing the scholarship related to Latin Americanist librarianship as well as documents related to SALALM’s organizational activities. By sharing our scholarship in this repository, we are actively contributing toward building a collection of resources that can be accessed and retrieved by anyone interested in learning about the work SALALMistas produce. This hands-on workshop will start with a demonstration on how to navigate the repository, describe works, and make uploads to the platform. The purpose is to bring awareness of this wonderful resource that can benefit all, and encourage all SALALMistas to contribute their works (conference presentations, articles and books chapters (pre-print, post-print), white papers, reports, etc.) regardless of when they were created/published in an effort to grow the collection of works produced by our community and extend their reach.
Participants are need to bring their laptops and works they would like to contribute to the repository.
